Cumberland Campus Pastor
Phil is an engaging preacher/pastor who loves Jesus and who’s life has been radically transformed by God’s power. He has a passion for not only “doing” church but being the church, along with discipleship, community, ministry, and seeing lives changed. He especially loves his wife and partner in ministry, and his 3 beautiful kids. Prior to his current role, Phil was youth pastoring for 10 years. Phil really appreciates long walks in the woods, sports, and food. It makes him happy. Especially chicken wings.
Kimberley Murray

Kimberley has a passion to share with young people the message of God’s love; to help nurture their spiritual development, see them empowered to serve Him, discipled in the Word, and to live out the plan God has for them. From an early age she felt a clear calling from God to minister to children and families. And, for more than 20 years has had the privilege of doing this both in Canada and abroad. Kimberley loves Jesus, her family, enjoys long walks on the beach and traveling.

Melody is the Guest Services Assistant at Peoples Church Cumberland. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for newcomers. You can find her smiling face in the church lobby, ensuring things run smoothly. Melody also loves engaging with our fantastic team of volunteers. Be sure to say hello! Melody and her husband attend Cumberland with their little boy and soon to be baby #2. In her spare time, Melody enjoys hiking, camping, and a good board games night with friends.

Matt is a worship leader at Cumberland, whose passion is seeing others have encounters with the presence of God. He loves being able to encourage and equip others to serve with their gifts and desires to see more people experience life changing transformation through discipleship, worship, the Word of God and the love of Jesus. Matt is blessed with a big family and loves his amazing wife and 6 incredible children. When he is not either serving or studying, Matt enjoys reading, gaming, and watching reruns of "The Office".

What Happens When I Get There?
As you're walking to the building, our greeting team will be there to meet you and help show you around. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you.
What Do I Wear?
We don't really follow a dress code. Some people wear suits and dresses, while others might wear a graphic t-shirt and jeans.
How Do I Have to Act?
Be yourself! We don't expect perfect people. In fact, we believe there's no such thing. That's why we love this journey we're on together.
What Do You Do For Kids?
Here at Peoples Church, we provide a kids church service that your children will love. PC Kids (Age 2 – Grade 5) is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time.
How is the service experience?
Services are typically around 75 minutes. We start by singing three to four songs. Then one of our pastors speak.
Lastly, If you’re visiting for the first time, we’d love to meet you, answer any questions you may have, and give you a gift. Please don't hesitate to stop by the welcome table or say hi to one of our pastors or staff when you visit.
*Please note that our building is not wheelchair accessible due to stairs at the entrances. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are working on a solution.
